The Master Gardener Training Program covers practical horticulture topics including:

- Botany
- Plant Identification
- Soil Biology
- Entomology
- Integrated Pest Management
- Perennials
- Vegetable & Fruit Production
- Plant Pathology
- Weeds
- Irrigation
While COVID-19 presents us with some new challenges, NMSU and the McKinley and Cibola Extension Master Gardeners are dedicated to offering an opportunity to those interested in becoming Master Gardeners in 2021.
The training program is expected to start by March and complete by June 2023.
