Northern District 4‑H Contest

The Northern District 4‑H Contest will be held June 23–24, 2026, at Grants High School in Grants, New Mexico.

 Youth will have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of contests including agriculture, family and consumer sciences, public speaking, presentations, judging events, and more.

The contest also includes a district social event, Northern District Social: Skate & Slice, featuring roller skating and pizza on Tuesday evening.

Registration is due to the McKinley County Extension Office by Monday, June 1.
The cost is $25 per participant, and T‑shirts are provided for youth participants.

If you would like a copy of the "Emergency Preparedness Guide," "Emergency Supply List" or any other Emergency specific brochures, feel free to stop by the office between 9 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday. We are closed for lunch 12 - 1 PM. Call the Extension office at 505-863-3432 if you have any questions.
